Discrimination in Recruitment Practices
Target audience: Human Resources employees
This program will provide employees who are involved in recruitment processes or panels with an understanding of recruitment and selection within the framework of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
The program will provide information on Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 legislation, discriminatory practices and lawful practices realting to:
- Exemptions, Pre-employment testing, the Merit principle
- Duty statements, selection criteria, application forms
- Short listing and interviewing
- Requests for unnecessary information, unlawful requests for information
This workshop is facilitated by Jenny Crisci, (Anti-discrimination Commission Queensland).
All participants need to have completed both Module 1 and Module 2 of the EO Online program within the last 2 years.
