The overall intent of Safety Risk Management is to ensure that possible exposure to health and safety risks associated with hazards in the workplace is minimised. As such, it is every person’s responsibility to safeguard the health and safety of colleagues and visitors to the workplace.

In many cases, risk management is nothing more than a careful examination of what could cause harm to people in the workplace.

This workshop will provide participants with:

  • An overall introduction to the basic tenets of Safety Risk Management;
  • An understanding of the principles and steps involved in successful risk management;
  • Ability to identify and minimise risks and hazards; and
  • Competency in performing risk assessment.
