Right to Information (RTI) Awareness Session

This session is aimed at informing USQ employees regarding recordkeeping activities and right to information, as a result of new legislation introduced on 1 July 2009 by the Queensland Government. The Right to Information Act 2009 replaced the Freedom of Information Act 1992, and as such, the session will detail the significant changes that have taken  place as a result of the new legislation and the impact for USQ and its staff.

 

Specific topics to be covered include:

  • Changes effective 1 July 2000
  • Impact of changes for USQ, including publication schemes, and disclosure logs    
  • Operational changes
  • Application Process
