Right to Information (RTI) Awareness Session

This session is aimed at informing USQ employees regarding right to information processes, including access requests for documents held by USQ. On 1 July 2009, the Queensland Government introduced the Right to Information Act 2009 which replaced the Freedom of Information Act 1992. The session will highlight the significant changes that have taken place as a result of the legislative changes as well as the impact for USQ and its staff.

Topics to be covered include:

  • What is Right to Information (RTI)?
  • Right to Information compliance regime
  • Impact for USQ and its staff
  • Access to documents held by USQ.
